Morning: We are delighted that Daniel Kogge has agreed to present a set-up clinic. Come with an instrument that you have set up, hear it played, and get advice about how you can improve the setup to maximise sound and playability.
Before Daniel’s clinic the RAB Trust will hold a sale of wood, tools and fittings, at heavily discounted prices. The RAB tool sales are legendary, this will be a bumper one and is not to be missed.
Afternoon: A round table discussion about bridging the gap between college and work, chaired by Libby Summers of Stamford Strings. You will be able to find out more about how to set up your own business, how to look for a job from those who have been through this before you and who are keen to share their experience.
The forum is open to current students of violin making and those who finished their training no earlier than 2021.
